Owning a home is everyone’s dream. They say that home is where everything starts and ends. Home is where thoughts are put together, dreams are born, paths are shaped, lives are conceived and the future is determined.

The point is, no matter what ‘home’ means to you, there is surely something nostalgic about the place we call home. It’s the place where we eat, the place with friends and family, where we enjoy our home goods and decor, and it’s the place we make our own. Sometimes in life, we could use a little reminder of how it feels to be home, to come home, and to leave home.

In the past few years, there have been concerns that Nairobi was becoming a concrete jungle, with buildings everywhere and with no room for parking cars, motorbikes, and denying kids the smallest chance of free space to play.

Suggestions have been that people should venture outside Nairobi, into the satellite towns to enjoy the real beauty of fresh air, great projects, and houses that will give them a true feeling of a home; a place they will always long to go back to.

It, therefore, came as no shock when Centum launched the first phase of Mzizi Court Apartments which will comprise 270 one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, and 450 customers paid cash deposits for them, 66 percent more than the apartments being offered.

Kenyans are no longer looking for “just houses” but for something that will give them value, peace, and a life that is free of stress. Mzizi Court seems to be breathing a new life into this for it is located within an expansive 102-acre piece of land within Two Rivers development.

What makes it unique is that residents will enjoy 30 acres of dedicated green spaces at Two Rivers and outstanding amenities within the development, such as a 1.06-acre sports district fitted with an Olympic size swimming pool, a kid’s pool, a 7-aside football pitch, basketball court, kids play area, 2.7 kilometers of jogging tracks among others.

The groundbreaking for the construction has already taken place and the project is expected to take 24 months to be complete.
