In the spirit of Customer Service Week, UBA Kenya Bank is rewarding customers who will be opening new accounts or transacting at their branches. This, according to the lender, is a sign of appreciating customers who have been with UBA Kenya and those joining.

“We are because of our customers. It is their trust in us that has made us who we are. This is their week and all our staff are set and ready to always make our customers a priority. We know our small token of appreciation is not enough but it is our little way of telling them “Thank You,” said UBA Kenya in a statement.

UBA Kenya became the first lender in Kenya to launch Instagram Banking through their virtual banking tool Leo, which enables customers to interact with the bank as well as transact without leaving Instagram. The new product has since received a warm embrace among Kenyans where at least 20 million of them use Instagram for both social and business.

“For us at UBA Kenya, technology is at the heart of everything we do. We do not use technology to make our work easier but to make the life of our customers easy and enjoyable as they interact with us. We are always rushing against time to catch up or beat the ever-changing trends within and without Kenya,” added the lender in a statement.

Since setting foot in Kenya, UBA Kenya has played a major role in ensuring financial inclusion among Kenyans through products and services that resonates with local needs. For parents, the lender has a U Care account that enables parents to save for their kids as they earn an interest rate of up to 3 percent per year.

“We wish all our customers a happy week and we assure them that for them, they are always valuable around the clock, all day, week, month, and year,” said the bank.
