The call for applications for the 2023-2024 Lithuanian short-term studies scholarship is now open! This scholarship allows students, lecturers, and researchers (except citizens of Belarus and Russia) worldwide to pursue 1-2 semesters of studies in Lithuania.

To choose a higher education institution for Lithuanian short-term studies, candidates are advised to use the AIKOS platform and select relevant keywords, such as “Lithuanian philology”.

There are 15 scholarships available for Lithuanian short-term studies, with 10 scholarships offered for students, lecturers, and researchers (except citizens of Belarus and Russia) and 5 scholarships offered for foreigners of Lithuanian origin from all over the world.

Applicants are required to design their study program so that at least 50% of the subjects are related to Lithuanian studies, including subjects such as Lithuanian philology, linguistics, literature, Lithuanian history, ethnology, and folklore, as well as culturology.
