Maisha Magic East is set to air Peak Time Media Promotions ‘Nairobi Fight Night Rumble boxing show set for tomorrow at the Moi International Sports Centre, Gymnasium from 7 pm.

All DStv and GOtv viewers across all bouquets are set to watch live as top East African boxing athletes battle for glory via DStv Channel 158 and GOtv Channel 4.

Speaking during the highly-charged weigh-in event that was held at the MultiChoice Kenya Head Office, Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) acting secretary general Julius Odhiambo confirmed that all the expected boxing athletes from Uganda and Tanzania had arrived for the match.

“All is set for the extravaganza that will feature seven bouts. We are glad that GOtv and DStv will relay the event live on both DStv and GOtv,” said Odhiambo.

During the same event, MultiChoice Kenya managing director Nancy Matimu confirmed MultiChoice’s formal entrance into the fast-growing local boxing industry to help profile sports personalities while keeping DStv and GOtv audiences entertained.

“MultiChoice Kenya is committed to enriching lives through content that educates and informs, as well as entertains especially at this time when Kenyans are facing huge economic pressures. Our forte in local content is unmatched and this is the first time we are giving Kenyans a treat on live local boxing while positioning our athletes on-air,” said Nancy.

Lukuyamuzi is geared up for the Nairobi Night Rumble ahead of Mandago’s Saturday return to Nairobi. Meanwhile, Karim Mandoga will be making his return to the boxing ring tomorrow as part of the main card of the inaugural Nairobi Fight Night.

The bout against Ugandan Kenneth Lukyamuzi will be his second Pro Boxing fight in Nairobi after the Tanzanian beat Kenyan Daniel Wanyonyi in the non-title fight.

For Ugandan Kenneth Lukyamuzi, it’s an opportunity to make a statement of intent and grab the spotlight from the charismatic Tanzanian.
