5 Painful Realities Of Life You Should Know

by Business Watch Team

99.9 percent of the people you meet don’t care. They do not give a damn. You have to live your life without relying on the opinions of others. People only care about what is in it for them. It is not what people think but what you think of yourself.

You are not irreplaceable at your place of work. You have been at your place of work for years, you may think that the company is the way it is because of you. But when the time comes, when your usefulness would have faded, you will be let go and forgotten and someone else will be found.

Most of your workmates are not your friends. They are just workmates. They smile, and they drink with you, but deep inside, they either want you gone or dead. Therefore, go to work. Do what is expected of you. Get paid. Go back home to your family. It is what matters.

There is no honor in being poor. Poverty is a reaper of dignity. It takes away part of you. It takes away your respect and reduces you to ridicule. They say the greetings of a poor man are often mistaken for begging. That is the painful reality.

Never forget those who stood by you when everyone was making excuses. There are people who disappear as soon as challenges come knocking at your door and only reappear when the bad days are over. Never take them back. Stand firm and repay people in equal measure as they treat you.

The above are just but a few realities of life. But you are in charge of your whole life. Never let anyone dictate to you how you should live your life. All that matters is that you do what is right and to others what you would like them to do to you.
