SGA Security has signed a strategic partnership with Isuzu East Africa to boost operational efficiency, expand capacity, and enhance service delivery across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Under the agreement, Isuzu will supply NMR 85H cab-and-chassis units, which will be converted into Cash-in-Transit (CIT) and courier vehicles to support SGA’s growing logistics and security needs. The partnership, valued at approximately USD 3 million (KES 387.6 million), will roll out in phases, beginning in Uganda and Tanzania from 17th July 2025.
This collaboration aims to reduce fleet maintenance costs, improve efficiency, and standardise SGA’s fleet using Isuzu’s high-performance platforms. With Isuzu’s engineering expertise and strong after-sales support, SGA expects improved vehicle uptime, optimised routing, and enhanced customer service.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, SGA Security Group CEO & Chairman Jules Delahaije called the partnership a strategic investment in reliability, safety, and scale. “Isuzu’s proven track record strengthens our ability to deliver secure and timely services across East Africa,” he said.
The Isuzu NMR 85H trucks, known for their durability and adaptability to tough terrains, will enhance SGA’s CIT operations and reinforce its position as a trusted regional logistics provider.
Isuzu East Africa Managing Director and Board Chair Rita Kavashe welcomed the partnership as a convergence of shared values. “SGA and Isuzu are both synonymous with trust and performance. Our trucks are engineered for the demands of CIT operations, and our extensive dealer network will ensure maximum uptime as SGA scales across the region,” she said.
The partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth in East Africa.
