I love having a nose for what is ahead of time. I can call myself a prophet but nobody in our bloodline has any prophetic blood running through their veins. But, in my wild imagination, I had a dream that Samsung is planning something that will shake this year.
In my dream, with the leftovers of what Samsung did in 2024, I saw them going harm on artificial intelligence (AI) in every release that they are going to give Kenyans and the world this year. I saw them going full throttle on Generative AI. This is the future that is happening now.
This year, your smartphone rolled out by Samsung will be drafting messages for you and even sending them on your behalf. Your smartphone will challenge you like: “Mark, are you sure you want to send this message to your boss? It might get you fired. Can I give you other ideas?” Imagine that. I saw that in my dream.
Of course, nowadays when we talk about Galaxy, we are not talking about fiction movies but Samsung. Now, imagine your Galaxy device responding to your texts with the kind of wit that would make Shakespeare jealous. Samsung’s Generative AI could mean text suggestions so on-point, you’ll wonder if your phone is reading your mind.
Samsung has made its footing with the Samsung S Series and this year, that is what they are going to capitalize on. The upcoming S series, I have a feeling is going to be a game-changer. If you are planning to buy a smartphone this year, I would tell you to wait for something big is coming and you do not want to be left out.
I came across a Samsung teaser video that highlighted its upcoming AI capabilities and now it has become the talk of the town with several speculations over what the company has planned for the Galaxy S25 series. Did I just say S25, I was actually not supposed to say that. But I have said it. Nothing can be done to remedy that.
In fact, alongside the video, Samsung also shared a blog post revealing some of the upcoming Galaxy AI features for the Galaxy S25 Ultra model to entice buyers. Therefore, if you are planning to buy smartphones during launch, then here’s what Samsung may reveal in the space of AI for new generation Galaxy S series models.
