Global smartphone maker OPPO is kicking off a campaign that is aimed at positioning the newly-launched OPPO Reno4 in the Kenyan market dubbed OPULENCE with Reno 4.
OPPO says it is planning to leverage on Avril and Pascal the main O-stars for the Reno Series for or a 7-day familiarization trip focused on showcasing a variety of experiences across the country.
The duo will also take part in different excursions and visits to key destinations in Nairobi, Nakuru, Meru, and Mombasa as well as showcase how powerful the OPPO Reno 4 is when it comes to photography, as well as Videography.
“We are proud to engage on this Opulence tour together with our own O-stars Avril & Pascal to explore our magical Kenya as an opportunity to build enhance the brand visibility as well as key consumers in different regions,” said Muthoni Wachira, Corporate Communications & Projects Manager at OPPO Kenya.
The brand is partnering with the Sarova Group of hotels and the Kenya Bush Track Safaris and aims to give Kenyans a glimpse of the country’s finest destinations..

The Reno4 strikes a delicate balance between a slim and sleek design. Equipped with a 6.4-inch Dual Punch-hole Display, Reno4 comes in at 7.7mm thick so that it fits in the hand and pocket easily, while it’s lightweight at 165g, ensuring that your hand won’t be fatigued while holding Reno4.
The device comes with two colors: Galactic Blue and Space Black, with OPPO introducing a new design technique dubbed ‘Reno Glow’ for the Reno series. This is an innovative back cover design that combines a matte fingerprint-resistant texture with subtle glittery details, which gives the Galactic Blue color a more vibrant and glossier look.
Reno Glow adds a shimmer to Galactic Blue’s silver and blue color gradients when reflected under the light, achieving a dazzling effect. Together with looming OPPO monogram at the bottom, which adds a sense of mystery, these colors offer a more premium appearance and great in-hand feel.
