Kenya’s Globetrack Shines At AMEC Awards 2025 With Triple Win

Kenya’s leading media monitoring and analytics firm, Globetrack, has been feted with three prestigious awards at the AMEC Awards 2025 (International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication), cementing its position as a global leader in data-driven communication measurement and evaluation.

The company was celebrated for its outstanding contributions to advancing strategic communication through data insight-led, measurable impact, with recognition for projects with the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), alongside an individual honor for its founder and managing director, Esther Kagiri.

In the first category, Globetrack was recognized for its foundational collaboration with NACADA, which focused on combating alcohol and drug abuse through data-driven communication. Working closely with NACADA, Globetrack mapped a comprehensive measurement journey, setting baselines, piloting insights, and building a scalable evaluation framework that directly supports NACADA’s prevention and education mandate.

“Together with NACADA, we set out to do things differently, to measure not just activity, but impact,” said Esther Kagiri, Founder and Managing Director of Globetrack. “We mapped the measurement journey, set baselines, and used insights to guide improvement in their mandate to curb alcohol and drug abuse.”

The project established a compelling measurement narrative for NACADA, allowing meaningful tracking of behavioral and perceptual change, a critical step toward understanding the effectiveness of public health campaigns in Kenya.

In the second category, “Most Impactful Client Recommendations Arising from a Measurement Study,” Globetrack was also recognized for its ability to bridge the gap between measurement and management, transforming data into actionable strategies that support Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA )’s core mandate, aviation safety, compliance, and stakeholder confidence.

One of the standout recommendations from the study was the launch of a post-certification compliance mentorship program for new Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs). This advice emerged from Globetrack’s analysis of media gaps around post-certification practices and the growing volume of conversations related to aviation safety, licensing, and airworthiness.

“Our recommendations went beyond generic insights,” explained Ms. Kagiri. “They were business-aligned and outcome-driven. For KCAA, that meant connecting communication to its core mission of aviation safety and compliance, proving that strategic measurement can directly support operational success.”
