Hundreds of gaming enthusiasts thronged the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Saturday for the highly anticipated 2025 Otamatsuri Gaming Convention, turning the iconic venue into a buzzing arena of energy, skill, and creativity.
From competitive showdowns to cosplay parades, the event captured the spirit of Kenya’s fast-rising gaming and pop culture scene. And at the heart of the experience was Safaricom’s ultra-fast 5G network, delivering smooth gameplay, low latency, and seamless online interactions that kept the action alive.

The room lit up with energy as players clashed in shooters, strategy games, sports titles, and more—fueled by adrenaline, energy drinks, and the hunger for victory.
