Bolt has launched a campaign aimed at celebrating the resilience, determination, and daily hustle of ordinary Kenyans with the (Bolt Valuable People) campaign, to highlight and celebrate the unsung heroes who consistently show up and do the work, often without recognition.
Through a social media-driven nomination challenge, Kenyans are being invited to share stories of the real MVPs (Most Valuable People) in their lives, whether that’s a parent, neighbor, colleague, or friend.
Selected nominees will receive a Ksh. 100,000 all-expenses-paid getaway, as a token of appreciation for their commitment and effort.
“Kenyans are known across the continent for their drive and determination. This Labour Day, we wanted to celebrate the people behind that spirit, the ones who keep things moving, often behind the scenes,” said Adega Murbe, Bolt’s Regional Marketing Manager, Africa. “The everyday Bolt Valuable People campaign is about telling those stories and honoring the people who represent the very best of Kenya’s work ethic.”
The campaign also taps into the strong sense of community that defines Kenyan culture, where acts of service, support, and perseverance often go unspoken but are deeply valued. By encouraging people to share real, personal stories, Bolt hopes to spark a wider conversation about gratitude, recognition, and the power of everyday contributions in shaping society.
Bolt says the campaign is part of its broader commitment to champion the everyday individuals who contribute meaningfully to the country’s social and economic fabric.
