APA Insurance has once again cemented its position as an industry leader after walking away with multiple accolades at the prestigious Think Business Insurance Awards 2025. The awards, which celebrate excellence in the insurance sector, recognized APA Group’s outstanding achievements in sustainability, innovation, customer experience, and corporate governance.
Leading the celebrations was Dr. Dipankar Acharya, CEO of APA Insurance, who—together with senior executives from APA Insurance and APA Life Assurance—proudly received one of the coveted eleven awards presented to the Group during the ceremony.
Among APA’s top honors was the Winner’s Award for Best Insurance Company in Sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility, a testament to the company’s long-standing commitment to creating shared value through impactful social initiatives. The Group’s strong internal controls and proactive operational strategies were also recognized. APA clinched First Runners-Up positions in key technical categories, including Fraud Detection and Prevention Initiative, Risk Management, and the Major Loss Award—demonstrating a solid commitment to governance, claims integrity, and enterprise risk frameworks.
In the life insurance segment, APA Life was recognized as First Runners-Up for Life Insurer of the Year, affirming its exceptional performance in serving policyholders and maintaining trust through innovation, financial strength, and customer-first service delivery.
APA’s depth and breadth of capability were further evidenced by Second Runners-Up positions in several competitive categories: Medical Underwriter of the Year, Technology Application, The Training Award, General Insurer of the Year, and Most Customer-Centric Underwriter – Life—the last of which the Group received twice, a clear indication of its consistent excellence across different product lines and service channels.
Speaking after the awards ceremony, Dr. Acharya remarked,
