The Nairobi International Cup (NaiCup), East Africa’s premier grassroots football tournament, has officially launched its 2025 calendar, promising an even bigger platform for young footballers to showcase their skills and gain professional exposure.
Committed to bridging the gap between aspiring players and professional opportunities, NaiCup provides a structured and competitive environment that highlights Kenya’s vibrant football culture on a global stage.
The season kicks off with the Under-13 Boys NaiCup Legacy Tournament on March 1, 2025, at the Two Rivers Sports District, in partnership with Swim Africa. The tournament will feature 16 teams, progressing from the group stages to the quarter-finals and ultimately, the finals.
“This year, NaiCup is bigger and better, offering more opportunities for young players to be scouted and gain exposure,” said Kevin Akumu, NaiCup Founder and Tournament Director. “The Legacy Cup sets the tone for an exciting season of football development.”
With an expanded lineup of events throughout the year, NaiCup continues to solidify its position as the region’s leading grassroots football tournament, paving the way for the next generation of football stars.
