Kenya Police FC has established itself as a formidable team in the Kenyan Premier League, known for its disciplined and well-structured style of play. In 2024, the club achieved a significant milestone by clinching the Mozzart Bet Cup title after a dramatic 8-7 penalty shootout victory over KCB, following a goalless draw in regular and extra time. Goalkeeper Patrick Matasi secured the win by scoring the decisive penalty, earning the team a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup and a Kshs 2 million prize.
Beyond this sponsorship, the APA Apollo Foundation has demonstrated a long-term commitment to nurturing youth talent in sports. For over 15 years, it has been the main sponsor of the RYSA, covering participation fees for various leagues and providing football kits, logistics, and team allowances. In 2024, the foundation sponsored the RYSA U-17 girls’ team to compete in the Gothia Cup in Sweden, marking the third consecutive year of participation in the tournament.
