Over the past couple of years, LG Electronics has had a remarkable winning streak with its OLED TV technology. In particular, the LG C1 has been the flat screen to beat, but 2022 just got better. The company had added some smarts to the OLED TVs!
While browsing for OLED TVs online, there is a good chance that you might have come across a TV called the OLED Evo. Well, this is a moniker used by LG to refer to a new OLED panel used in its latest televisions.
The panel makes some notable improvements in the OLED panel space by creating even better visuals.
Introducing the LG 2022 OLED Evo Gallery Edition
The OLED Evo innovation was announced by LG Electronics during the 2022 CES. The company’s new lineup of TVs including the LG premium Gallery Series OLED TV known as the G2 series and the LG C-series OLED TV known as the C2 Series has been upgraded with the OLED Evo panel.
The LG G2 OLED TV model will be available in a massive 97-inch OLED and 83-inch options. The G2 series already has 55, 65, and 77-inch options.
The LG C2 also arrives in a 42-inch configuration, accompanying the previous 48- 55-, 65-, 77-, and 83-inch models, closer to many of the best 4K monitors for Xbox Series X and PS5. This compact model follows the announcement of 42-inch panels from LG Display back at CES 2021, enabling more manufacturers to deliver smaller OLEDs moving in 2022.
Better Picture Quality
Made with the OLED Evo technology, the new LG TVs with SELF-LIT PiXELS have evolved with the all-new Brightness Booster. This boost guarantees high picture quality, producing deeper shades of black and brighter highlights to reveal incredible levels of detail and color.
The OLED Evo panel can achieve higher brightness of up to 20 percent more than the traditional OLED screens. This produces greater clarity and detail, all of which should result in even more realistic images beamed into your eye-holes at home.
The OLED Evo’s brightness helps enhance the HDR performance of TVs by bringing out small highlights. Moreover, all OLED panels, by their self-emissive nature, can produce perfect blacks. So, with perfect blacks and improved highlights, the OLED Evo panel can provide a better HDR experience.
The visuals create stunning colors that are remarkably conspicuous. One doesn’t have to worry about colors looking washed out at high brightness with LG OLED Evo Gallery Edition. The revolutionary display sacrifices nothing when it comes to detail and color so that you can be fully immersed in every moment.
