Your employees are the first consumers of your products and services. Treat them well and they will treat your clients well. Treat them like trash and they will treat your clients the same.
Many people think that when clients go for them, it is because they have the best of products and services. That might be the case but it all depends on the type of team that you have.
People don’t buy products and services. They buy people and trust. It is people who attract people to a product or service. If you have pathetic people, your product or service will automatically be pathetic.
Many employers neglect their employees and focus on “bettering their products and services”. How can you better your products and services without bettering those who making the same products and services?
There are three ways to motivate your team, make it great and have the best of products and services:
Pay your team well and on time: when you pay your team well and on time, they won’t have to worry about expenses and other money-related problems. They will be more settled and concentrated.
Be part of the team: share concerns with them. Be one of them. Feel what they feel and guide them in th right way. Do not be a small god who is unreachable and untouchable.
Act the way you want them to act: truth is, if you frustrate your employees, they will vent out to your clients and your clients will run.
If you take care of your employees, they will take care of your business. They will feel home, part of the business and will protect it. Invest in them.
