Elon Musk, the head of DOGE (Department Of Government Efficiency) in the United States of America (USA), has revealed that there is a massive shortage of air controllers in the United States and called on those who retired and would like to take up jobs to do so with immediate effect.
“There is a shortage of top-notch air traffic controllers. If you have retired, but are open to returning to work, please consider doing so,” said Elon Musk through his official X account, causing massive condemnation from the majority of the Americans.
Ironically, it is Elon Musk who fired the majority of the traffic air controllers in the name of saving costs. Earlier this year, President Donald Trump and Elon Musk gave buyout offers to federal workers who would opt to retire early to reduce the workforce numbers.

Little did they know that the traffic air controller would be among the many who took up the offer that included lump some payments and other interesting perks. And now, major airports are facing massive shortages with air accidents increasing daily.
“That is because you fired them, you du*p stoned motherf*cker…,” said Keith Olbermann on x. “Maybe you could try calling all the ones you fired?” added Julie Bush. “The US government is not a toy, you incompetent tool,” fumed Sean Casten. Elon is being skinned alive on his platform.
One wonders why Elon Musk was firing all those employees who held very sensitive positions without considering the ripple effect. Some are questioning whether he is as smart as he claims to be because the confusion he has caused is beyond this world.
Will the retired ones come back and take up the jobs that others have run away from?
